Jim Kezios purchased a Saluki Marooned paperpack. Jim had some interesting things to say about his part in some of the festivities that took place at SIU in the late 60's and early 70's. He claimed to have been responsible for...EVERYTHING!

On-the-air at WIDB radio, 40-years after my last broadcast at the student station. It was Program Director Kyle Fisher's first on-air interview. His questions were very astute, and I thought he had been doing interviews for years. I also recorded some introductions and station identifications for WIDB. The recording of the broadcast is on the salukimarooned.com website.

Thanks to Clare Mitchell and Ron Graves for inviting me to the Thompson Point cookout at Kellogg Hall. The cheeseburgers were the greatest, and so was the conversation with students from the College of Communications. I also met a student named Marta, and we had an interesting conversation about the character Marta in Saluki Marooned. I think the 21st Century Marta would have gotten along well with her 20th Century counterpart.
